‘Since you diagnosed our son with dyslexia, he has stopped being so hard on himself. He always compared himself to his peers and couldn’t understand why he found spelling tests so difficult when he had practised a lot beforehand.’
When I asked my daughter about the lessons, she talked confidently about all the things she’d learnt- vowels, consonants, nouns, capital letters and full stops. She also said that she has a laugh with Vee so it makes learning fun. She enjoys the ‘remember the story’ game and other games that they play. She also said that she’s happier to read out loud and her spelling and writing is much better.’
‘My daughter now has a greater understanding of spelling, grammar, punctuation, verbs, CVC words and so on. There’s also a noticeable increase in her ability to read. She sounds out difficult words and manages to crack them.’

“Vee taught me how to do my letters the right way using the thumbs up. I also learnt capital letters and full stops. The letter, picture and spelling cards helped me. It has helped my confidence.”

‘It was mentioned at parents’ evening how much more confident my daughter is in class discussion. She’s happy to have a go and is pleased with her efforts.’
